Terms of use
Last updated: October 23, 2026.
1. Who we are and acceptance
These terms govern your use of akiraoptions.com and the Akira Options software (the “Service”), offered by Akira Options, an individual based in Puerto Rico (“we”). By using the Service, joining the waitlist or creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18, have legal capacity to enter into a contract, and accept these terms, the privacy policy and the risk disclosure. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is and is not
Akira Options is automation software. It runs the rules, strategies and risk limits that you configure in your own brokerage account, using API permissions that you grant and can revoke.
- We are not a broker-dealer. We do not trade for ourselves or accept orders from third parties.
- We do not hold customer funds. Your money and securities always stay with your broker. We do not receive, transfer or withdraw your money, and we have no access to withdrawals or cash movements.
- We do not manage your portfolio or anyone else’s. Each user decides and controls their own account.
- We are not an investment, tax or legal adviser. We do not issue signals, recommendations or personalized opinions. Default strategies and values are technical configuration examples, not investment recommendations.
3. Waitlist
Joining the waitlist creates no contract, payment obligation or guarantee of access. Features, supported brokers, dates and prices may change before launch. You can delete your email at any time on this page (in Spanish) or by writing to us.
4. Your account and its security
When accounts open, you must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your password and two-step verification codes secret, for everything that happens under your account, and for telling us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. Accounts are personal: do not share or transfer them.
5. Connecting your broker
- You may connect only brokerage accounts that you own or are expressly authorized to trade.
- You must generate the API credentials (or approve the connection) from your broker, with only the permissions the Service needs. We will never ask for your broker password.
- You can pause the bot, close positions or revoke the credentials at any time from your broker; doing so immediately stops anything the software could do in that account.
- You must comply with your broker’s terms and the laws and regulations that apply to you (including day-trading, margin and capital requirements).
6. Brokers and third-party services
The Service depends on third-party interfaces and services (for example Webull, market-data, hosting and email providers). They may change, limit or suspend access, reject or delay orders, show wrong data or fail. We do not control them and are not responsible for them. Broker names and trademarks are used only to indicate technical compatibility; there is no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated. Compatibility with a specific broker is announced only once its permission for this kind of software is confirmed.
7. Modes: SIM, PAPER, DEMO and LIVE
The Service has four modes, from lowest to highest risk:
- SIM: fully simulated (prices and orders). Moves no real money.
- PAPER: real market prices with internal orders. Moves no real money.
- DEMO: the broker’s test environment, with fake money. Moves no real money.
- LIVE: trades with real money in your account and requires express confirmations. Turning it on is solely your decision.
- SIM, PAPER and DEMO results do not reflect what would happen with real money (different liquidity, slippage, rejections and emotions).
8. No promise of results
We do not promise, guarantee or imply profits. In particular:
- One user’s profits do not ensure another’s: every account, configuration, capital size, entry time and market condition is different.
- Past, simulated, test or other users’ results do not guarantee future results.
- Any figure, example, screenshot or testimonial you see is illustrative (those on the site are fictional) and does not represent what you will get.
- Trading options can lose 100% of what you put into a position, and the software can fail or do exactly what you configured even when that results in a loss.
9. Plans, payments, renewal and refunds
Unless announced otherwise, the Service is free and nothing is charged. When paid plans exist:
- Prices, billing periods (monthly, 6-month, annual) and features will be shown before you subscribe, in US dollars; applicable taxes, if any, will be added as required by law.
- Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period already paid.
- Unless applicable law says otherwise, periods already started are not refunded pro rata. If you believe there was a wrong or duplicate charge, write to us and we will review it in good faith.
- We may change prices; the change applies from the next renewal and we will give reasonable advance notice so you can cancel first.
Nothing will be charged without your express acceptance.
10. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service for illegal activity, market manipulation, circumventing your broker’s limits or controls, trading accounts you are not authorized to trade, trying to access systems or data that are not yours, reverse engineering, automated data extraction, interfering with the site, or reselling, sublicensing or offering the software to third parties (including managing other people’s accounts) without written permission.
11. Intellectual property
The software, brand, design and site content belong to their owner. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service under these terms. The strategies and configuration you create remain yours.
12. Availability and changes
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, freedom from errors or uninterrupted operation. Interruptions, maintenance, data delays, software errors and order rejections can occur. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service, giving reasonable notice when possible.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, failures or decisions of brokers and other third parties, interruptions, or decisions made or not made with the software; (b) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages; and (c) our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of what you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the event or US$100. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example for willful misconduct or personal injury); some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.
14. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from third-party claims, and the reasonable costs arising from them, that result from your use of the Service, trades in your account, your breach of these terms or of law, or credentials or content you provide.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close access if you breach these terms, if there is a security risk, an unpaid charge or a legal requirement. On termination, sections that by nature should survive (intellectual property, no warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law) remain in force.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on the site with a new date and, if you have an account, notified by email. Continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them; if you disagree, stop using it and cancel.
17. Governing law, disputes and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before going to court, please try to resolve any issue by writing to us; most are solved that way. Unresolved disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of San Juan, Puerto Rico, without prejudice to any non-waivable rights the law of your place of residence gives you as a consumer.
Service provider: Akira Options (individual), Puerto Rico. Contact: soporte@akiraoptions.com.
If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force. These terms, together with the privacy policy and the risk disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
