Risk disclosure
Last updated: October 23, 2026.
Read this before using Akira Options. Trading options involves high risk and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose 100% of the money put into a position, quickly, and some strategies can lose more than the amount initially invested.
What Akira Options is and is not
Akira Options is software that runs rules you configure in your own brokerage account. It is not financial advice, it does not issue signals or recommend investments, it does not hold funds, has no access to withdraw your money and does not manage third-party money. Your money stays with your broker.
We do not promise profits
- We do not guarantee profits or any level of return.
- One user’s profits do not ensure another’s. Each person has different capital, configuration, entry timing, broker and luck.
- Past performance does not guarantee future results. A market that favored a strategy can stop doing so without warning.
- Figures, examples and screenshots on the site are fictional or illustrative, and testimonials, if any, do not represent what you will get.
Simulated and test results
SIM, PAPER and DEMO modes, and any historical test (backtest), have limits: they do not reflect real liquidity, slippage, order rejections, commissions or the emotional effect of risking real money, and they are often tuned after the fact. A good simulated result does not imply a good real result.
Risks specific to options
- Options can lose all their value, especially near expiration; 0DTE options (expiring today) can do so within minutes.
- Price depends on the underlying, time, volatility and liquidity; it can move against you even if you are right about the general direction.
- Wide bid-ask spreads and low liquidity can make you enter or exit at a worse price than expected.
- Before trading options you should read the OCC (Options Clearing Corporation) document “Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options” and understand your broker and its requirements.
Risks of automation
- A bot does exactly what you configure, without human judgment: if a rule is bad or the market changes, it can lose money quickly and repeatedly.
- Connection failures, data delays or errors, order rejections, partial fills, broker outages or software bugs can happen. They can cause losses, and risk limits cannot guarantee they will not occur (for example during price gaps or broker failures).
- You should monitor your account regularly and not leave the bot unattended if you are not comfortable doing so.
- The risk limits you set (per trade, daily, number of positions, pause after losses) reduce risk but do not eliminate it.
Your responsibility
You alone are responsible for the strategies you enable, the limits you set, the capital you risk and all trades in your account, as well as the taxes and regulatory obligations that apply to you (for example day-trading rules and your broker’s margin or capital requirements). You can pause the bot, close positions or revoke API credentials at any time from your broker. Trade only with money you can afford to lose, and consult an independent adviser if you have doubts about your situation.
Live-money mode
LIVE mode uses real money and requires express confirmations. It should be turned on only after understanding these risks and after long testing in non-real-money modes, starting with small amounts.
Third parties
We depend on brokers, data providers and other services we do not control. We have no affiliation with supported brokers unless expressly stated. See our terms of use for the limits of our liability.
